Personalities related to the commune
Jean-Charles Cavaillé is the most famous personality of Noyal-Pontivy.
It exerted there the function of Maire, simultaneously with its successive mandates with the National Assembly (RPR, then UMP). From 1978 to 2002, he was constantly re-elected. He put an end to his political activity on June 18th, 2002.
