The Nowshak (or Noshaq ) is more the high mountain of the Afghanistan and the second plus high summit of the Hindū-Kūsh (highest being the Tirich Mir (: 7690 m)). Nowshak is located at the North-East of the country along the Ligne Durand which marks the border with the Pakistan.
The first rise was carried out in 1960 by Toshiaki Sakai and Goro Iwatsuboa, members of a Japanese forwarding . They carried out their rise by the south-western edge starting from the glacier of Qadzi Deh. Nowadays, the normal way follows the western edge.
