Nowhere Man
Nowhere Man is a Chanson Beatles written by John Lennon (credited Lennon/McCartney), recorded with the Studios Abbey Road the 21 and October 22nd 1965, and published the December 3rd according to on the album Rubber Soul .
Titrate autobiographical signed John Lennon, Nowhere Man (the man of nowhere), fourth beach of the original 33 turns , is the first song of the Beatles which does not treat a topic of the relations man/woman, i.e. the love. It marks in this direction the evolution of its author towards more personal and more philosophical texts.
Left in individual in North America, the song was classified N°1 with the Canada and the 3rd rank of the Billboard hot 100 in February 1966.
Composition
John Lennon composed Nowhere Man in the small hour, after one transfered night. He was in his house of Kenwood, Weybridge. The inspiration did not come. “I had stopped seeking” it told with the Biographe Hunter Davies. At the end of five hours, “nothing came. I felt frustrated and I went to lengthen me, giving up any hope. And there, I really had the impression to be a man of nowhere, sitting in his country which does not exist”. “Then all arrived to me, words and music, all the thing… ”.
Putting a term at the speculations which flowered at the time of the publication of Nowhere Man , John Lennon thus ended up explaining that the “man of nowhere, sitting in his country of nowhere, making plans of nothing for anybody”, it was him.

Nowhere Man , mainly sung in Harmonie to three voice (Lennon, McCartney and Harrison), belonged to the rare songs of Rubber Soul (with If I Needed Someone of George Harrison) that the Beatles inteprétèrent as a public at the time of their last concerts at the summer 1966.
Yellow Submarine
In the Cartoon Yellow Submarine (1968), Beatles, in way to save Peperland malicious Blue Meanies meets Jeremy Hilary Boob, pH. D., strange a small character with a large body in fur, a blue face, ears pink sharp and a tail. He speaks in worms and describes like a “eminent physicist, polyglot classicist, prize-winning botanist, hardware-biting satirist, talented pianist, good dentist too ” (“eminent physicist, traditional polyglot, botanist preceded, satire corrosive, talented pianist and good dentist also”). The group carries out whereas one of its songs summarizes the character of Jeremy well and starts to interpret Nowhere Man …
