- Asia, ASEAN: meeting of the ASEAN with Vientiane with the Laos. - Herve Gaymard was appointed Minister for the Economy, of Finances and of Industry, to replace Nicolas Sarkozy, elected the day before chair of UMP.
- Dominique Bussereau, which was Secretary of State to the Budget, was promoted Minister for Agriculture, the Food, Fishing and Rurality to replace Herve Gaymard.
- Philippe Douste-Blazy, Minister for Health and Social protection, was appointed Minister for Solidarity, Health and the Family.
- Jean-François Cope, acting minister inside, was appointed deputy secretary with the Budget and the budgetary Reform and preserves its attributions of government spokesman.
- Marie-Josée Roig, Minister for the Family, was appointed minister delegated inside, near Dominique de Villepin, to replace Jean-François Cope. She thus loses her rank of minister of full exercise.
