Novel-Small Henri is a Résistant French during the Second world war.

Biography

Born in 1897 with Firminy in the the Loire, it is mobilized in 1938. The Armistice it fails in its attempt to join the free France with London. To Saint-Etienne it returns in relation to the network the Hope attached to Franc-Tireur. One charges with locating it the grounds for parachutings around Lyon. It organizes in 1942 the Maquis of the Ain, it ravels the November 11th 1943 in Oyonnax with the head of its men of the maquis. It organizes the beginnings of the Maquis in Haute-Savoie and entrusts some the command to Tom Morel in order to be dedicated completely to the Maquis of Ain. During the summer 1944, it installs a true civil administration with Nantua and makes appear “the voice of the maquis”. With the release he is imprisoned a few weeks at the height Lamothe in Lyon by the new police chief of the Republic Yves Farge (These chiefs of the Maquis which génaient).
