Novaïa Lialia
Novaïa Lialia (in Russian: Но́ваяЛя́ля) is a city of the Oblast de Sverdlovsk, in Russia. It is located on the Eastern side of the the Ural, to 306 km in the north of Iekaterinbourg. Novaïa Lialia is sprinkled by the Rivière Lialia, a Affluent of Right Bank of the Sosva. It counted: 13706 inhabitants in 2006.
Novaïa Lialia was founded in 1723 close to a copper foundry, which closed in 1744. In 1906, a station of railroad was open there on the new line Kouchva - Sérov. At the beginning of the 20th century, the city developed new industrial activities: treatment of wood and manufacture of paper. Novaïa Lialia has the statute of city since 1938.
