A novelisation (in English novelization or novelisation , of Novell : novel) is the adaptation in the form of novel of a history developed at the origin in another media: film, Televised series, Television serial or Video game for example.
The most famous novelisation, and one of rare to be regarded as a work with whole share, are 2001, the odyssey of space of Arthur C. Clarke according to film of Stanley Kubrick whose Clarke was also the Co-scenario writer (though in this precise case, two works were written in parallel and not one after the other; Clarke specified in the foreword of 2010, Odyssée two which it had improved the book by seeing the rush).
