Noubarachen

Noubarachen or Sovetachen (in Armenian: Նուբարաշեն) is a district of Erevan.

Situation

Of a surface of 1.811 hectares and populated that of 9.300 inhabitants, it is connected more at one small town of countryside, not forming part of the urban continuity of the capital. It is located at the extreme south-east of the communal territory of Erevan. In addition, it lodges a large prison of 600 prisoners.

Administration

This district is made up only of one single district éponyme. It is controlled since the month of September 2005 by Mher Hovhanissian (June 2nd 1979 with Erevan-) (in Armenian: ՄհերՀովհաննիսյան) .
