The Notre-Dame Basilica-cathedral of Ottawa , on 385, Walk Sussex, was built of 1841 with 1858. John Canon and Pierre-Adrien Telmon designed the building. The doors surmounted by windows in arc in tierce point have neo-classic clotheshanger S. Flavien Rochon and Philippe Pariseau decorated and carved the interior decoration.
At the end of the years 1990, the cathedral underwent a restoration costing of the million dollars. The cathedral is open saturdays of 9:00 to midday and Sunday of 13:30 to 16:00
