The notoriety of a person, an organization, a mark or a produced is its public fame.

Rate of notoriety

One can calculate a rate of notoriety expressed as a percentage of Population having quoted the person, the organization, the mark or the product in a given category.

The rate of spontaneous notoriety is the percentage of the questioned people who quote the name of the mark spontaneously.

Ex: " A perfume for homme" => 75% of the questioned people quoted Kenzo, 50% Hugo Boss, etc

The rate of assisted or suggested notoriety is the percentage of the questioned people who affirm to know the mark with the mention of this one.

Ex: " Know marks it to you Kenzo? " => 95% of the questioned people answers yes. Strongest of noriété being the Signal Off Mind the notoriety of first rank, i.e. the number of times or a mark is quoted in first place in spontaneous notoriety

It is obvious that the notoriety of a mark varies much according to the Image of this one.
