Not-ionizing radiation

A not-ionizing radiation indicates a type of Rayonnement for which the electromagnetic energy transported by each Quantum is insufficient to cause the Ionization atoms or molecules. These radiations can however have sufficient energy to cause the passage of an electron on a higher Energy level. Some of these radiations can have biological effects.

Among the not-ionizing radiations, one counts the radiations of the close relation Ultraviolet, the visible Lumière, the Infrarouge, the Micro-onde S, the Ondes radio and the fields static

Ultraviolet radiations

The ultraviolet radiations are known for their effects on the skin. Those can be benign like the Bronzage or more low registers like the Sunstroke. On the eyes, they can produce Cataracte S.

Low frequency fields

Low frequency fields, as those produced by the pylons of the grid systems of electricity were classified like potentially cancerinogenes for the man . Studies do not show any appearance of cancer in the animals of laboratories, but the statistics seem to show an increase in leukemias in the children exposed to important fields in their residence. Momentary light effects on health could be highlighted, but no other long-term effect was observed, that it are cardiovasulaire, the central nervous system, blood, etc
