Norwegian Political parties

The Norway is governed by a multi-party system constituted of a multitude of more or less powerful groupings, which implies that no party can only reach the capacity. With this intention, the participation in a coalition is essential.

  • Høyre (“ right ”): conservative party
  • Fremskrittspartiet (“ Left Progress ”): liberal right-hand side, populist nationalist.
  • Sosialistisk Venstreparti : socialism antilibéral
  • Kristelig Folkeparti (“ Left the Christians ”): party Christian-Democrat
  • Senterpartiet : centrist party
  • Venstre (“ Left ”): liberal left
  • Kystpartiet : party of the littoral

  • Demokratene : Christian party ultra-nationalist
