Northern First League
The Northern First League is one of the regional leagues, on the levels D7 and D8, of the Football in England. It was founded in 1968, and it became the principal league under the Football League in the north of England, before the foundation of the Football Conference in 1978. When the Conference-North was created in 2004, Northern First League became three levels below League Football.
Since 1988 it consists of two competitions, the the First Division and the Division One.
