North Dorset

North Dorset is a " room government district" (District) of the Dorset, England. The district is mainly rural, but it includes cities like Blandford Forum, Gillingham, Shaftesbury, Stalbridge and Sturminster Newton. The major part of the district is located in the valley of the Rivière Stour (called Blackmore Vale). North Dorset was formed on April 1st, 1974. The economy of North Dorset is primarily based on the production of milk. North Dorset has a Population of 61,905 inhabitants.
