North-eastern division (LNH)
In North America, the North-eastern division of the National league of hockey was formed in 1993 as a part of the Conférence of the East during the realignment operated by the League. Its predecessor was the Division Adams.

Evolution of division
1993 - 1995
North-eastern division is formed in result of the realignment of the LNH and is formed by the Bruins of Boston, the Sabers of Buffalo, the Whalers de Hartford, the Canadian of Montreal, the Senators d' Ottawa and the Nordiques of Quebec coming from the Division Adams while the Penguins de Pittsburgh come from the Division Patrick.
1995 - 1997
The Scandinavian ones of Quebec are moved in the division Pacifique to become the Avalanche of Colorado. The composition of division is then the following one:- Bruins of Boston
- Canadian Sabers of Buffalo
- Whalers de Hartford
- of Montreal
- Senators d' Ottawa
- Penguins de Pittsburgh
1997 - 1998
The Whalers de Hartford are moved with Greensboro, in North Carolina, to become the Hurricanes of the Caroline. The franknesses from division are then the following ones:- Bruins of Boston
- Canadian Sabers of Buffalo
- Hurricanes of the Caroline
- of Montreal
- Senators d' Ottawa
- Penguins de Pittsburgh
1998 - Present
The Predators of Nashville making their entry in the LNH, all divisions are chamboulées with the creation of two new divisions. Thus, Hurricanes of the Caroline are moved in the news South-eastern division, Penguins de Pittsburgh join the division Atlantique and the Maple Leafs of Toronto join division coming from the division Centrale.The teams are thus the following ones:

Champions of Division
