Norodom Suramarit (March 6th 1896 - June 26th 1960) king of Kampuchea of 1955 with 1960.

Born with Phnom Penh, only sons of prince Naradhana Sudharatta (Sutharot) and of his half-sister the princess Bhagavatti Banganaja (Phangangam), oldest daughter of the king Norodom Ier.

Cousin of the king Sisowath Moniwong, it marries his daughter the royal princess Kossamak (1904 - 1970), including 3 wire and a girl among which the future king Norodom Sihanouk.

Chief of the Council of Regency the April 25th 1941 when his/her son reaches the throne, he becomes king after the abdication of this last the March 2nd 1955. He reigns until his death the June 26th 1960.
