Norodom Ranariddh
The prince Norodom Ranariddh (January 2nd 1944 -) is the son of old the king Norodom Sihanouk and the brother of the king Norodom Sihamoni. He is very implied in the Kampuchean political life since he chairs FUNCINPEC, the “royalist” party Kampuchean.
After a conflict with the Prime Minister Hun Sen, of which he was the Deputy Prime Minister, and who led it to one period of exile in 1997, he became president of the National Assembly of Kampuchea. Following many confrontations, more or less open, with the Left the Kampuchean people of Hun Sen, he resigns of the presidency of the National Assembly in March 2006.
