Norfolk (Connecticut)

Norfolk is a city located in the Comté of Litchfield, in the State of the Connecticut (the United States). According to the census of 2000, Norfolk had a total population of 1.660 inhabitants.

Geography

According to the Office of the census of the United States, surface of the east city of 120,2 km ², including 117,4 km ² of grounds and 2,8 km ² of water levels (either 2,37%).

Demography

According to the Census of 2000, there were 1.660 inhabitants, 676 households, and 461 families in the city. The Population density was of 14,1 hab/km ². There were 871 houses with a density of 7,4 maisons/km ². The ethnic decomposition of the population was: 97,11% white; 0,48% black; 0,24% Amerindian; 0,54% Asian S; 0,00% natives of the islands of the Peaceful ; 0,60% of the other races; 1,02% of two or more races. 0,96% of the population were Hispanique or Latino of any race.

The average household comprised 2,44 people and the average family had 2,92 people.
