Nora Ephron is a director, scenario writer and producing American born the May 19th 1941 with New York (the United States).

Nora is especially known for its romantic comedies. She by three times was nominated with the Academy Awards for the Mystery Silkwood , When Harry meets Sally and Sleepless nights in Seattle . She also wrote for her sister, Delia Ephron.

She was married 3 times, with daN Greenbug, Carl Bernstein and Nicholas Pileg. When its second husband left it for Margaret Jay, Nora wrote a novel in 1983 on these events and a cinematographic adapation in 1986 made of it: the Burn with, at the head of poster, Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep. Nora Ephron always continues has to write, rewarded by a success not contradicted.

Nora Ephron and “Deep Throat”

Apart from its cinematographic career, Nora Ephron was the wife, during several years, in the Années 1970, of the journalist Carl Bernstein and, for this reason, informed of the exact identity of “Deep Gorge”, adviser of high ranking within the FBI , in the Scandal of Watergate. In spring 2005, at the time of the publication of the article of Vanity Fair revealing that “Deep Throat” was not other than W. Mark Felt, former assistant editor of the FBI in 1972 - 1973, Nora Ephron indicated, in a Weblog, that after years of heavy silence on the question of the identity of “Deep Throat”, it had taken the party to reveal its identity with all those which made him the request of it
