Nor-O
Nor-O () also called Kongô-rikishi () are two divinities guardians Japan eases of the Buddhist temples installed each side of the main entrance. They are generally out of dress or armor and show a menaçante.

Naraen (), that which is represented with the closed mouth, symbolizes the latent power whereas Misshaku (), that which with the opened mouth, illustrates the expressed power. They are forces able to drive out the bad spirits.
The sculptures most famous the representative are probably those of Unkei which were carried out for the Tôdai-ji with Nara.
