Noordhornertolhek
Noordhornertolhek is a hamlet of the commune Dutchwoman of Zuidhorn, in the province of Groningue. Noordhornertolhek (literally: the stopping of the toll of Noordhorn ) is located on the Canal Van Starkenborgh, is tightened between the channel and the railway line which connects Groningue to Leeuwarden. At the origin of this hamlet was a Péage on the Hoendiep; the place was also called Noordhorner Tolhuis .
Noordhornertolhek is located at the place where the remainder of the old man Hoendiep is thrown in the Canal Van Starkenborgh. This last, starting from Noordhornertolhek towards the west, corresponds to old Hoendiep of the 17th century, deepened and widened in the Années 1930. The section of the Channel Van Starkenborgh in the east of Noordhornertolhek dates entirely from the years 1930.
