Nonesuch Records is a musical label pertaining to the group Warner Music Group specialized in the music of the world, the contemporary Classical music and the Jazz.

History

Nonesuch was founded in 1964 by Jack Holzman in the beginning to publish recordings of European classical music. Nonesuch functioned then like a " under-label" of Elektra Records (created by Holzman in 1950).
