Non-violence XXI is funds associative. It gathers the 11 French non-violent main organizations to develop, in France and in the world, a true culture of non-violence.
The funds associative is entirely dedicated to the financing of a culture of non-violence.
Objectives
Non-violence XXI supports the interventions in the two following fields:
- culture of Non-violence in France: education, training, research, diffusion and sensitizing.
- the non-violent civil intervention in the world: formations, assistance with the missions on the ground, research and analyzes.
The activity and the scale of Non-violence XXI are clearly national, even international with the volunteers of peace, but by the means of associations founders, comprise relays in all France.
Means of action
Non-violence XXI privileges the financing of the actions in the long run necessary to the progressive phasing-in of a new culture. For that, it attempts to find financings stable as well as new givers.
Actions
Non-violence XXI financially supports non-violent projects in three fields: the civil intervention of peace, education with non-violence and the promotion of the non-violent action.
-
peace needs volunteers!
- *Il acts to support the training and the missions of the teams of volunteers of peaces which intervene everywhere in the world to prevent the conflicts in the zones of tension, to defuse the armed conflicts when those started, to manage frustrations, incomprehension and hatreds, of rebuilding peace. Their missions are variable: formation, mediation, protection, interposition.
- non-violence, that is learned!
- *Apprendre non-violence as of the school is a need, an urgency. In a general climate which unceasingly puts violence on the front of the media scene, it is time that a new voice is made hear: that of non-violence. This is why Non-violence XXI creates the Funds for education with non-violence in order to create and to diffuse various supports and tools (teaching cases, tools of information, films vidéos, cédéroms, plays, etc), to finance formations with the resolution of conflicts, animations in the school and extra-curricular places, etc
- Choisissez the non-violent action!
- *Pour to preserve the memory of Christian Brunier, untiring militant of non-violence deceased in May 2004, and to continue its action, Non-violence XXI created in 2005 the Funds Christian Brunier for the non-violent action, intended to finance non-violent actions which will prolong the combat of Christian, as well as formations with the non-violent action.
To make known non-violence :
Non-violence XXI organized in 2004-2005 a big competition of drawings on the free topic of non-violence, opened with all and all. The 40 selected drawings made it possible to build a course of exposure (“Draws to me non-violence! ”), which seeks to make known non-violence, its reasons to be, its methods and its effectiveness.
