Noise , in the Celtic Mythology Irish, is a hero of the Cycle of Ulster, he appears in particular in the account of Longes mac nUislenn ( the Exile of wire of Usnech ). He is the son of Usnech (sometimes named Uisliu ) and the nephew of the king of Ulster, Conchobar Mac Nessa. The direction of its name is “man of reputation”.
With its birth, the Druide Cathbad had prophesied that the single beauty of Deirdre would cause wars between the kings of Ireland and the devastation of the island. Promised, against its liking, in Conchobar like concubine, she prefers to be made remove by Noise, warrior and considered singer, for a tragic wandering, with the two brothers of this last. In Scotland, Noise must be denied a king who tries to kill it to seize the young girl. Of return in Ireland, Conchobar sends to them in embassy Fergus Mac Roeg with a message of peace and the insurance that it to them will not be made any evil. Arrived at Emain Chewed, Conchobar made assassinate Noise and his/her brothers and confines Deirdre with the row of concubine; she commits suicide by precipitating the head the first against a rock. Fergus and its companions, furious of the treachery of the king, take refuge in the Connaught from where each day, they attack Ulster. The Cathbad druid pronounces a curse against the capital Emain Macha, which is destroyed by a fire.
