Noirétable is a common French, located in the department of the the Loire and the area the Rhone-Alps.

Geography

The commune is located at 25 kilometers in the east of Thiers, with 5 kilometers in the south of exit 4 of the highway A72 connecting Clermont-Ferrand to Saint-Etienne.

Noirétable belongs to the entity and specificities of the geographical sector of Wood Blacks (sector covering part of Allier, of the Loire and Puy de Dôme): creation of a Space VTT-FFC which proposes 42 circuits of different difficulties, 1069 km marked out. To discover:

  1. the Small museum on the history of Noirétable beside the Town hall
  2. Notre Dame of the Hermitage: In the south of NOIRETABLE, 1110 m of altitude, the Hermitage seems to take care on the canton. Its privileged position offers a rare panorama, many paths and invite you to practice the excursion.
  3. the Foréziennes Forging mills: forge and completion of articles of cutlery to be discovered in summer for the manufacture of the models " Thiers" , " Nétrablais" , " Forézien".
