Nogaï

Nogaï (Mongolian noxoï : Dog), great-grandson of Gengis Khan, was an important character among the Mongolian of Russia at the end of the 13th century and played the part of maker of kings among his/her cousins of the Horde of Gold.
It gave its name to people of Turkish language, the Nogaïs or Nogay, primarily installed in the republic of the Daghestan in the the Caucasus, and to the language of these people, the nogaï or nogay.
