Nodutus

In the Roman Mythology, Nodutus or Nodotos or Nodatus (of Latin “nodo”, to tie) was the god who was governed the creation of the nodes in the stem of corn ears ( the city of God, IV.8, Saint Augustin ).

It is probable that the divinity was in the beginning a nickname of Saturn.
