Nobressart (in Luxembourg Gehaanselchert , in Walloon Nåbrissåt ) is a section of the common Belgian of Attert located in Walloon region in the Province of Luxembourg

It was a commune with whole share before the fusion of the communes of 1977.

Etymology

The name of Nobressart finds its origin in the Germanic term Albicon-grinds which was transformed little by little into Elchenroth to become Abrissart . This last term meaning like the two first essart of Alberic .

History

The Community

The Nobressartoise community is very present in the village. Several annual events announce inheritance. Various events:

the plays intervillages : It is about an annual competition organized by the Club of the Fountain.

Noc'Nob : A musical festival organized by the Club of the Fountain and voluntary of the village.

Run&Bike : an sporting event organized by Jean-Paul Apples through the valley of Attert.
