The Nobel Prize of Chimie is decreed once the year by the royal Académie of sciences of Sweden to a scientist whose work and work contributed an exceptional share to the Chimie and allowed a remarkable progress in the knowledge of the field. After the publication of the name of the prize winner at at the beginning of October, the price (a medal and a diploma) is officially given by the king of Sweden, the December 10th, birthday day of died of the founder of the price. Immense scientists, whose work however completely modified the approach of the discipline, were not rewarded, the price which cannot be allotted in a posthumous way.
