Noah Welch

Noah Welch (born the August 26th 1982 with Brighton in Massachusetts) is a professional defender of Hockey.

Career in club

It is fished out Université of Harvard during the Repêchage of entry in the LNH 2001 by the Penguins de Pittsburgh of the National league of hockey to the second turn (54e choice on the whole).

It immediately did not join the frankness from the LNH and continues the university then plays for the Penguins de Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Ligue of hockey (LAH), team holds of Pittsburgh, in 2005-06. This same season, it also makes its first matches in the LNH (five matches).

Announced as put in reserve to play with Penguins of WBS, Welch is recalled from time to time to play in the LNH but with final, the February 27th 2007, it joined the Panthers of Florida in exchange of Gary Roberts.
