No pity for the crescents

Pas of pity for the Growing S is a French Sitcom in 139 26 minutes episodes, created by Jean-François Porry and diffused starting from the September 6th 1987 on TF1. In Quebec, the series was diffused on Canal Family.

Synopsis

Signed AB Productions, this sitcom puts in scene the members of the Club Dorothée in grotesque and delirious situations.

In each episode was a guest, most of the time stimulating of TF1 (Simone Garnier, Bernard Montiel, Helene Rolles…), but also some celebrities of the sport or the song (Henri Pescarolo, C. Jerome…).

One finds in the series several characters become recurring with the wire of the episodes: Superpat (played by Patrick Simpson-Jones), the Dodo Fairy and the Fairy Excrement, Doctor Jackenstein (or the insane scientist, interpreted by Jacky) and his assistant the faithful ARIANE, the innocent victim (Corbier), Craze and Charlie (whose success was such as it became a series with share about it).

The series also parodied the cartoons of the Club Dorothée and was declined in romantic picture story in the weekly magazine Dorothée Magazine .

Film adaptation

In February 2007, it is Jacky which confirmed that the team was in full preparation of the version cinema of the sitcom. To note that Corbier already refused to take part in it. This information for summer has contradicted by Jacky.
