No5el Redding (born the December 25th 1945 with Folkestone, in the Kent, and deceased the May 11th 2003) was a British Bassiste , especially known to have been member of the Jimi Hendrix Experience .
Two of its compositions are reproduced on albums of the group:
- She' S So Fine on Axis: Bold As Coils (1967);
- Little Miss Strange on Electric Ladyland (1968).
He dies in 2003 at the 57 years age, at his place, in Ireland.
He was criticized with many recoveries, mainly because of his disagreements - perhaps legitimate - with Jimi Hendrix. With listening, its base lines are rather convincing and air (even if Hendrix often recorded its own base lines on Electric Ladyland ).
No5el Redding had been retained as a bass player (perhaps for its haircut), whereas it was Guitariste in the beginning.
There exists an autobiography of No5el Redding: Are You Experienced?: Inside Story off the Jimi Hendrix Experiment written in collaboration with Carol Appleby (1990).
