No5el Gallagher was born the May 29th 1967 with Manchester (England). He is the principal type-setter, lead-guitarist and occasional singer of the group of britpop English Oasis. It forms with his younger brother Liam Gallagher, singer principal of Oasis, the chamailleuse phratry most famous of the musical press.

In the middle of the Nineties, Gallagher was one of the main actors of the movement Britpop during which the Oasis group was great critical and commercial successes there.

Biography

In 1991, his/her brother Liam Gallagher is in a group named Rain. Christmas wants to belong to the group in the only condition that he is the single type-setter and chief of the group, and gives him the name of Oasis inspired by a concert hall of the same name in Manchester.

He is the principal type-setter of the group and is regarded as the head thinking and direct of the group, one calls it " the chief". He married Meg Matthews which gave him a girl " Anais" then divorced, and currently lives with Sarah MacDonald. It used mainly Epiphone guitars (a model signature of the mark bears its name), currently it plays on of Gibson. Fan of the Beatles, Christmas learned the guitar with the title " Ticket to ride" . The writing of Christmas wants to be melody with a direct side that many rock'n'roll groups envy to him. He is the author of the planetary tubes " Wonderwall" , " Whatever" , " Don' T look back in anger" who make certainly of him, the songwritter more endowed with its generation, true a " hit-maker". February 14th, 2007, it received the price of " Outstanding Contribution " with the Brit Awards: " I wanted to receive it before being my 40 years old, not to appear too old, (...) step like the Pink Floyd ".
