No5el Devaulx
Rene Forgeot , under the pseudonym No5el Devaulx , is a short story writer and French novelist, born the December 9th 1905 with Brest, dead in June 1995.
Biography
- Scientific and technician of formation and profession, it only comes to the literature relatively late.
- With the Mount Coeliers , appeared in 1938 in the review Measurements , it enters in relation to Jean Paulhan and Béguin, and its first collection of news, the Inn Parpillon will appear in 1945. As of this moment, the narrator seems at the same time traditional, by the control and the examination of the style, and like fantastic, by his taste of the fabulous atmosphere and the perpetual presence of suggestions metaphysics or oneiric: gifted characters of a “nature more than human” like “ the Lady of Murcie ”, of which the eyes have an enigmatic and irrefutable capacity.
- “ Shadow theater ”, according to the expression of H. Ronse (NRF, 2, 1967) but where the obvious existence of these same shades is like the die stamping of nostalgia of the spiritual one and of crowned.
