No5el Carroll (1947 -) - American philosopher which makes authority for its esthetic analyzes in the field of the cinema. He also works on the philosophy of art in general, the theory of the media, or the philosophy of the history. He is currently professor with Temple University. As a journalist, it also published many articles in Chicago Reader , Artforum , In Thesis Times , Dance Magazine , Soho Weekly News and The Village Voice .
