No-log

No-log is a service of access to Internet by Modem STN proposed by association Globenet.

The service No-log was born in 2002 in reaction against the Loi on the digital economy to protect the private life on Internet. No-log does not require any personal information (name, first name, address) for the creation of an account. All the proposed services are free but restricted (being given anonymity). The access to Internet is accompanied by a service of Email which respects the same requirements of minimal conservation of the personal data.

These two services being free, No-log is mainly used as a supplier of email.

In September 2006, No-log counted:

  • 50000 accounts;
  • 10000 accounts of transport used each day;
  • 5000 hours of access to Internet per month.
