Nival stage
The nival stage , also called stage of the eternal snow starts as of the first eternal snow, in general in Europe above 3000 m altitude. It succeeds the alpine stage. The nival stage at one duration of snowing up higher than the period of snow clearance. Glacier S and rocks prevails.
Flora
Some species of plants with flowers still live there, but the vegetation primarily consists of foam S and Lichen S. However certain plants can still push beyond 4 000 meters (in Europe) like the buttercup of the glaciers.
Fauna
Dimensioned Birds, one meets there the chocards with yellow nozzle, Lagopède S, alpine accenteurs and others niverolles alpine.
