Nitrated (German: Neutra , Hungarian: Nyitr (I) has ) is with Bratislava more the hurdy-gurdy town of Slovakia.

It is located at the edge of the river bearing the same name, with the foot of the mount Zobor in the west of the Slovakia. It also gives are name, with the area of Nitrated Nitrated has a little less than 85.000 inhabitants (at the 8/21/2006) and is thus the 5th more big city of the Country, behind Bratislava, Kosice, Presov and Zilina. It is also the capital of the area Nitriansky kraj.
