Nissei

The Nissei are Brésil iens of Japanese origin . They are called thus because in Japanese, that means “second generation”. They are in general acculturés with the Portuguese language and keep only rather slack bonds with their country of origin. The Community close to the three million inhabitants, it acts of the principal Japanese population apart from Japan.
