Nipissing-Timiskaming

Nipissing-Timiskaming is a federal electoral constituency in Ontario (Canada).

The district skirts the Rivière of Outaouais starting from the Lac Témiscamingue, including parts of the territorial districts of Nipissing, Parry Sound and Timiskaming. The principal city is North Bay.

The districts bordering are Timmins-Bay James, Nickel Belt, Parry Sound-Muskoka, Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock and Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke, as well as the federal district of Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

It has a population of: 89416 inhabitants of which: 71136 voters on a surface of: 16160  km.

The current federal deputy is the liberal Anthony Rota.

It contains parts of the provincial districts of Nipissing and Timiskaming-Cochrane; according to the usual practice of the Ontarian districts, the provincial districts will agree with the federal ones in date of the next regular provincial election on October 4th, 2007.
