Niobé (Eschyle)

Niobé is a tragedy of Eschyle inspired by the mythological character of the same name. There us remain only fragments about it.

Niobé remained motionless and dumb during several scenes. It was probably its nurse who described the attitude of unhappy while dialoguing with the chorus.
