Nikolaus Schapfl

Nikolaus Schapfl is a German Compositeur born the August 21st 1963 with Munich.

Nikolaus Schapfl began the training from the Accordéon dice seven years and that of the piano at 14 years, age to which it carries out its first compositions. To 18 years, it gives its first concert of piano as a soloist to the theater of the town of Fürth and works as pianist of accompaniment of silent films. It starts into 1983 of the studies of engineer in Munich and successfully in 1988 finishes them. Then he follows this occupation during three year and half. In parallel, in 1985, it takes courses of composition with Johann-Peter Gampl.

Of 1989 with 1992, it takes courses of musical theory, melody and Composition with Dieter Buwen with the academy of Nuremberg. In 1992, it studies the composition with the Mozarteum of Salzburg with Wolfgang Sauseng and Christian Ofenbauer, at the university of music and representational arts of Vienna with Diether of the Mound, the harmony and the counterpoint with Franz Zaunschirm, the history of the music with Siegfried Mauser.
