Nikolai Fraiture
Nikolai Fraiture , born the November 13rd 1978 with New York (New York, E. - U.), is the bass player of the New Yorkean formation The Strokes.
It is of Franco-Russian nationality and usually speaks French. His/her mother was teaching and her father Vigile. Nicolas is perhaps the only member of Strokes which does not come from a privileged medium. He, his/her parents, and his/her Pierre older brother, lived all in an apartment with only one room. Nikolai has also a fore-mentioned sister Elizabeth who is 13 years old less than him.
It was in the same kindergarten as Julian Casablancas, another member of Strokes. It went later to the French College of New York.
Nikolai plays of Fender Jazz Low and Rickenbacker.
