Nikolai Alekseevich Severtzov
Nikolai Alekseevich Severtzov is an explorer and a Russian Naturaliste , born in 1827 and dead the February 8th 1885.
It leaves in 1857 in the area the river Syr-Daria in Central Asia. It is made prisoner by the Turkmènes and is wounded by blows of saber of which it will always keep the trace. Released, it turns over again in this area, with Tachkent in 1864. Severtzov makes appear to vertical and horizontal Distribution animals of Turkestan in 1873 where it describes many species S, including 384 birds. During another voyage in 1877 - 1878, it explores the Pamir and studies there the lines of migration of Central Asia. He dies accidentally, drowned.
