From 1845 to 1918: she becomes Technical training school of the Ale Mines. The level of teaching increases, there are more candidates and the outgoing pupils occupy of the posts of head of exploitation, engineers… Unfortunately, the First World War (1914-1918) obliges the School to close its doors. To attract more candidates, there is an information campaign, the construction of a new school and the proposal of a diploma for the occupation of engineer, authorized since 1965. From 1960 to 1970: the School becomes the Technical National school of the Ale Mines. In front of the fall of the mining activity, the School diversifies its lesson towards new industrial fields. Since 1980, the EMMA receives the girls and it supports the creation of company. In 1999, teaching and research are declined on three axes:- culture of the entreprenariat
