Nikolaï Goumilev

Nicolai Stepanovitch Goumilev (in Russian: НиколайСтепановичГумилев), (April 15th 1886 with Kronstadt - August 1921) is a Russian Poète influence, founder of the poetic movement of the Acméisme. He married celebrates it poetess Anna Akhmatova. It is the father of the historian Lev Goumilev.

Biography

Important literary and poetic figure of Russia pre-Soviet, impassioned by the Africa, courageous soldier (it accepted by twice the Croix of Saint-Georges), his poetry had a great influence on the youth of its time. In 1911, it founded with Sergueï Gorodetsky the Corporation of the poets (in Russian: Цехпоэтов ) which will give rise to the movement acmeist. He is also the cofounder of the Union of the writers of all Russies.

Not having never dissimulated the contempt which it carried to the illiterate Bolchevik S, it was stopped in 1921 for plot monarchist in what the historians regard as one of the first assembled businesses of all parts by the Tcheka. It was carried out in August 1921 in company of the other members of the conspiracy of Tagantsev .
