Nikolaï Boulganine

Nikolaï Alexandrovitch Boulganine (НиколайАлександровичБулганин), born with Nijni-Novgorod the June 11th 1895 and died in Moscow the February 24th 1975 is a Militaire and Soviet Politician .

Biography

Boulganine is the son of an employee of Nijni-Novgorod (become then Gorki). It adheres to the Party Bolchevik in 1917. From 1918 to 1922, he works in the Tchéka, then is affected until 1927 at the Superior council of the Nation's economy. Its rise starts in 1931, year when he becomes President of the Soviet of Moscow (it will remain in this station until 1937). It is named president of the bank of the people of RSFSR in 1937 (until 1941) and becomes the following year Vice-Président of the Conseil of the police chiefs of the people of the the USSR and President of the bank of State.

Candidate at the Central committee in 1934, it is elected by it member in 1939. President of the Economic council of the Council of the Police chiefs of the People at the beginning of the war, he becomes member of the Military council of the face of Moscow with the rank of general. In 1944, it enters to the committee of State to defense where it is then named vice-police chief. A little later it represents the USSR at the Polish committee of release.

Promoted marshal and Deputy Prime Minister in 1947, he became also member of the Political office of PCUS in 1948 (after having been substitute in 1946). It succeeds Stalin at the post of minister of the armed forces until in 1949 pennies Stalin and Malenkov.

With the support of Khrouchtchev which was then General secretary of the Communist party that it had known at the beginning of their respective careers, he becomes a kind of lieutenant accompanying it in his official visits. It assumes the chairmanship of the Council of Ministers in February 1955, to replace Malenkov.

However, in April 1958, Khrouchtchev made it dislocate its functions to relegate it to the presidency of the bank of State then that of the National Economic council of Stavropol. Boulganine is shown to have supported the “Faction splinter” which had been opposed to him the previous year. Excluded from the Central committee in September, it makes shortly after its self-criticism. It is put at the retirement in March 1960 but, sign of the change in the modes of elimination within the PCUS - one " liquide" more, one puts at the variation - Boulganine can disappear fifteen years, forgotten later but free.
