Nights from the Alhambra
Nights from the Alhambra is a DVD and a double CD in concert of Loreena McKennitt, left in 2007.
Video recording presents the concert given by Loreena Mc Kennitt in the palate of the Alhambra to Grenade in September 2006. The two discs take again the entirety of the pieces of the concert.
A first edition was put on sale at spring 2007 on the round in concerts in Europe and North America.
The concert
At the time of this concert, Loreena Mc Kennitt plays on the mixtures of kinds, musics and colors. The interpreted pieces are alternate between its last album studio and the precedents. Its music, in the beginning irlando-Celt, is since the middle of the years 1990 largely tinted of the influences Andalouse and Eastern. The plays of lights are all in constraste but a soft subtlety, between the back scene formed by the arcades of the palate lit into orange and the scene lit blue.
