Nights Into Dreams

Nights into dreams is a play developed by the Sonic TEAM of Sega and left in 1996 on Saturn. It makes it to the player possible to be immersed in seven oneiric levels resulting from the dreams of Elliot Edwards or Claris Sinclair, two children with the common dreams by the appearance of a strange flying character: Nights.

Technique

Nights Into Dreams is the first play of the Saturn to exploit the analogical paddle console (of which the design will be taken again for the paddle of Dreamcast). Its realization does of them one of the more good games of the Saturn, mitigating in particular by software way the graphic restrictions of the console and proposing large, varied and coloured levels, like some impressive technical effects (for the time), the such soft ground of the level “ Soft Museum ” or certain astonishing effects of transparency for the 32-bits of Sega.

The graphics of the play is in 3D but the progression is carried out on a plan, with the manner of Clockwork Knight (Saturn)

Passion

The play of Sega had to fight, at the time, face has Crash Bandicoot on PlayStation and Super Mario 64 on Nintendo 64.
