Nieuw-Helvoet
Nieuw-Helvoet is a village Dutch in the commune of Hellevoetsluis in Holland-Southerner. The village is located on the island of Voorne-Putten, in the north of the old center of Hellevoetsluis, in the west of the road which leads to Nieuwenhoorn, another village of the same commune. In 2004, Nieuw-Helvoet counted 6.610 inhabitants.
Until 1960, year of its annexation by Hellevoetsluis, Nieuw-Helvoet was an independent commune.
